There is no evidence if migraines lead to depression or whether depression leads to headaches, but one certainty is that the two diseases are related. This is the result of a study conducted by Carmen Molgat, assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon and Scott Patten, professor of psychiatry at the Calgary University from Calgary, Alberta.
